Information We Collect
We may collect contact details, service address, program interest, dog age and breed, training goals, household context, health and veterinary information, safety or behavior history, scheduling preferences, signed enrollment records, uploaded documents, and information you voluntarily provide.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to questions, evaluate program and transportation fit, communicate about services, schedule training, prepare enrollment materials, provide services, maintain business records, improve operations, and meet legal or insurance obligations.
Private Class Group
Participating families receive access to a private, hidden Facebook group. Joining is optional. The group may include informal photos, short videos, lighthearted glimpses into Academy life, and optional introductions from participating families.
Facebook is a third-party platform with its own privacy practices. GCA asks members not to share another family’s dog, name, comments, photographs, videos, or screenshots outside the group without permission. GCA cannot guarantee that another member will never save or share group content.
Sensitive, professional, behavioral, health, safety, and time-sensitive information is communicated directly rather than through the group. Group access closes 30 days after the final Academy day, and families receive a seven-day reminder before closure.
Separate Public Marketing Permission
Private-group participation does not grant GCA permission to use identifiable photos, videos, names, voices, stories, or testimonials in public advertising, social media, or website marketing. Public marketing use requires a separate optional choice or permission. Declining public media use does not prevent a family from participating in services.
Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with trusted providers supporting website hosting, secure email, document storage, payment processing, scheduling, messaging, customer records, or legal compliance.
Health Records and Enrollment Documents
Veterinary records, detailed screening information, and signed enrollment documents are handled through private systems and are not intentionally placed in public pages, public analytics events, or public URLs.
Website Analytics and Meta Pixel
The public website may use cookies, the Meta Pixel, and similar tools to understand page visits and successful lead-form submissions. Detailed application answers, veterinary information, and private enrollment data are not intentionally sent in those marketing events.
Retention and Security
We use reasonable safeguards and retain information as needed for service delivery, customer care, business records, legal obligations, insurance, and dispute resolution. No electronic system can be described as completely secure.
Your Choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information where applicable, opt out of marketing communication, or withdraw future public media permission.
